Type: Thermal monoculars Brand: HIKMICRO
The Falcon 2.0 FQ35 is the mid-length model of HIKMICRO's current Falcon range. Its 640×512, 12 µm detector is quoted at under 15 mK, and the 35 mm lens gives a 1.9x base magnification, a 12.5° field of view, digital zoom to 15.2x and a stated detection range of 1,800 m. HIKMICRO's shutterless "HSIS" design avoids the periodic calibration pause that most thermals show.
It has a 1920×1080 OLED display, records to 64 GB of internal memory and streams over Wi-Fi to HIKMICRO Sight. Power is a removable 21700 cell rated at 6.5 hours or more with Wi-Fi and Zoom Pro on. The body is IP67 and weighs 485 g with battery.
It suits deer watchers, estate and security users who want 640 detail on mixed-to-open ground and a long, swappable battery. UK selling prices sit around the top of the under-£2,000 band.
