Type: Thermal monoculars Brand: InfiRay

The Zoom ZH38 is InfiRay's dual field-of-view handheld: a 640×512, 12 µm detector with 25 mK sensitivity behind a lens that switches optically between 19 mm and 38 mm. At 19 mm it gives a wide view and a stated 987 m detection range; at 38 mm the view narrows and detection extends to 1,974 m. Digital zoom in 1x–4x steps takes magnification from 1.6x to 12.8x.

The 1440×1080 OLED display is the sharpest in InfiRay's handheld range. It records to 32 GB internal storage, has Wi-Fi to the app, and runs on removable 4,400 mAh packs rated at 10 hours each, with two in the box. The shutterless design avoids the periodic calibration pause of most thermals. Weight is 580 g; the manufacturer's table does not give an IP rating or field of view in degrees.

It suits users who need both a wide woodland view and long-range reach without carrying two units, and who can accept the extra weight.
