Type: Thermal binoculars Brand: InfiRay

The Gemini GEH50R is a two-eyed handheld with two imaging channels. The thermal side is a 640×512 detector with 25 mK sensitivity and a 50 mm lens, giving 4.1x base magnification, an 8.8° field of view, digital zoom to 16.4x and a stated detection range of 2,600 m. The second channel is a 1920×1080 low-light digital camera behind a 35 mm lens (3.8–15.2x), used to identify what the thermal has found. A laser rangefinder reads to 1,200 m.

Each eye has its own 1024×768 AMOLED display. Power is two removable 18650 cells rated at 6 hours. The body weighs under 960 g. InfiRay's table does not state pixel pitch, storage, Wi-Fi or an IP rating, so those are left blank.

It suits long sessions from a fixed position — a high seat, a boat, a security watch — where two-eyed comfort and the ability to switch from heat to a visible-light picture justify the weight and price.
