The TJ650 LRF is Guide's flagship handheld. A 640×512, 12 µm detector quoted at 20 mK sits behind a 50 mm F1.0 lens, giving 3.79x base magnification, an 8.8° field of view, digital zoom to 30.32x and a stated detection range of 2,000 m (one retailer quotes 2,600 m). The sensor runs at 50 Hz and the image is shown on a full-HD 1920×1080 AMOLED display. A laser rangefinder reads to 1,000 m.
It records photo and video (one retailer specifies 64 GB storage and audio) and streams over Wi-Fi. Two removable 18650 cells are rated at 10 hours together. The body is IP67, operates from -20 to 50 °C and weighs 625 g at 243 mm long.
It suits long-range spotting on open ground and estate or security work where a rangefinder and a sharp display matter. The 50 mm lens's narrow view is a handicap in woodland.
