The Asp-Micro TM160 is one of the smallest thermal monoculars sold for outdoor use. Its 160×120 detector sits behind a 6.2 mm F1.1 lens, giving a very wide field of view (the retailer page quotes 24.7°; AGM's own datasheet, which could not be fetched, is reported to say 15.6°), a base magnification of 0.5x and digital zoom to 2x. AGM states a detection range of 250 m. The sensor refreshes at 25 Hz.
It has a 720×540 LCOS display, records photo and video to 8 GB internal storage and streams over Wi-Fi. The built-in battery is rated at 10 hours. The body is IP67 and weighs about 250 g at 161 mm long.
It suits garden, sett and short-range security use where the question is whether something warm is there, not what it is. A 160 sensor cannot identify an animal beyond about 50 m. AGM has discontinued it, so it appears as remaining or used stock.
