The LN-DM50-HRSD is an older digital night vision monocular from Luna Optics, now discontinued and absent from the maker's current range. It has a 50 mm objective, 5x base magnification with zoom to 20x and a 6° field of view. The 500 mW infrared illuminator gives a stated range of 200 m. The sensor is quoted on the retailer page in a form that is not plausible (1920×960 CCD), so no sensor figure is recorded.

It records 1.3 MP JPEG stills and 720p AVI video to a microSD card of up to 32 GB (a 4 GB card was supplied), has no Wi-Fi, and runs about 5 hours on two CR123A cells. It is 180 mm long and 400 g, and is described as waterproof without an IP code.

It appears only as used or clearance stock. Its appeal was recording at a time when few digital units did; current Luna G3 units record at far higher resolution and the HRSD is only worth considering at a low price.
