Type: Thermal binoculars Brand: HIKMICRO
The Raptor RQ50L is a two-eyed device with three functions. The thermal channel is a 640×512, 12 µm detector quoted at under 20 mK behind a 50 mm F0.9 lens, giving 3.4x base magnification, an 8.8° field of view, digital zoom in steps to 16x (54.4x total) and a stated detection range of 2,600 m for a 1.7 m object. The optical channel is a 2560×1440 camera rated to 0.001 lux with switchable 850 nm and 940 nm infrared illuminators, used by day and for identification at night. A laser rangefinder reads to 1,000 m at ±1 m.
Each eye has a 1024×768 OLED display. It records 1600×1200 MP4 video and streams over Wi-Fi. Replaceable 18650 cells are rated at 8 hours with the hotspot off. The body is IP67 and weighs 1,120 g.
It suits long static watches on large ground — estate, security, coastal — where the budget allows for one unit that finds, ranges and identifies.
