The Gryphon GQ50L is the long-lens version of HIKMICRO's bi-spectrum monocular. The thermal channel is a 640×512, 12 µm detector (under 35 mK at F1.2) behind a 50 mm F1.2 lens, giving 2.9x base magnification, an 8.8° field of view, digital zoom in 1x–8x steps and a stated detection range of 2,600 m. A 1/2-inch 1920×1080 CMOS optical module behind a 22 mm lens provides the visible-light picture for identification, and a laser rangefinder reads to 600 m.

It has a 1024×768 OLED display, records to 16 GB and streams over Wi-Fi. The removable 18650 cell is rated at 4.5 hours with video output and Wi-Fi off. The body is IP67 and weighs 548 g. Figures are from HIKMICRO's own datasheet (2022).

It suits long-range watching on open ground where ranging and identifying what has been found both matter; the narrow view and short battery are the compromises.
