Bushnell Equinox X650

The Equinox X650 is Bushnell's entry-level digital night vision monocular. The UK retailer page confirms a 5x optical magnification, a built-in infrared illuminator, video recording to a supplied microSD card, a tripod mount and approximately 6 hours of constant run time on three AA cells, which are included. Bushnell's own product pages have been taken down, so the objective diameter (usually listed as 32 mm), digital zoom, field of view and weight are left blank rather than taken from unverified listings.

The retailer page also states a 595 m night range. That figure contradicts the model name (650 feet, about 198 m, is the range Bushnell originally quoted) and other listings, so no range is recorded here; check Bushnell's documentation before relying on either number.

The retailer prints an RRP of £249.99 and a selling price of £229. It suits garden and short-range use with the convenience of AA cells and recording; several digital units at this price now offer sharper sensors and rechargeable batteries.
