Type: Night vision goggles Brand: Bresser
Bresser sells this unit as the Digital NightVision Binocular 1x with Head Mount; it is commonly listed as the 1x20 goggles. It is a two-eyepiece digital viewer with a colour CMOS sensor (resolution not stated), a 1x magnification with 2x digital zoom, a 32.6° field of view and a close focus of 0.5 m. The 850 nm infrared illuminator has seven brightness levels and gives a stated night range of 70 m.
It does not record and has no Wi-Fi. The built-in 3,000 mAh battery charges over USB and is rated at 8 hours. It weighs 335 g (415 g with the head mount and accessories), operates from -20 to 60 °C and is not waterproof. Bresser lists it at €199.90 and marks it discontinued; stock remains with retailers.
It suits hands-free garden watching, camping and slow walking. Like all digital goggles, a 1x view with some lag is fine for sitting and standing but tiring for walking any distance.
