Type: Thermal monoculars Brand: Nocpix
The Vista H50R is the 50 mm model in Nocpix's top handheld line. It pairs a 640×512, 12 µm detector quoted at 15 mK with a 50 mm F0.9 lens, giving 4x base magnification, an 8.8° field of view, digital zoom to 40x and a stated detection range of 2,600 m. The sensor refreshes at 60 Hz, and the image is shown on an unusually high-resolution 2560×2560 AMOLED display. A laser rangefinder reads to 1,200 m.
It records to 64 GB of internal memory and connects to a phone over Wi-Fi. The 4,400 mAh battery pack is rated at 5.5 hours. The body is IP67 and weighs about 650 g; the retailer page gives 2024 as the year it entered production.
It suits long-range spotting on open hill, moor and large arable ground, and users for whom display quality matters. For woodland the 35 mm Vista H35R's wider view is the better fit.
