The ATN PS22 is an ingenious new development in night vision shooting - like the much more expensive AN-PVS-22 universal night sight concept, the PS-22 is designed to be mounted in front of your existing day scope. It converts your day scope to night vision, with no appreciable loss of zero and without the unnatural shooting position inherent in rear-mounted night vision add-ons. Unlike rear-mounted add-ons, users of illuminated reticle day scopes can also use their illuminated reticle without risk of damage to the night vision unit. The PS-22 is designed to be used in conjunction with daytime riflescopes with 1x-6x (2.5x-4x are optimal) magnification, converting the day scope into a high quality, very accurate night vision weapon sight. The PS-22 comes standard with 7/8” Picatinny/ weaver mount, but for use with most civilian firearms we have also developed objective ring adapters which allow easy mounting of the unit onto the objective of day scopes 25...62mm diameter (i.e extreme outer diameter of objective housing).When using the PS22 with the objective mounting kit, we recommend that your day scope should have side wheel parallax adjustment.

If using an adjustable objective day scope, then the PS-22 must be rail mounted on a Picatinny rail in front of your day scope. The PS-22 utilizes a 2nd Gen.+ 2I, 2IA or CGTI Image Intensifier tube. For long range shots on the darkest of nights, the included high-power IR illuminator allows various different levels of intensity and is focussable. Each PS-22 2I, 2IA or CGTI is supplied with a soft carry case, IR 450 illuminator, Rubber shroud, Corded remote switch, Picatinny mount, Picatinny accessory adapter and an objective mounting kit of your choice.
