The LIR75 is supplied with a weaver/picatinny fitting, so that it can be mounted directly onto the Picatinny platform ring - this allows it to be sited in a position where it will clear the dayscope turrets.

The Picatinny platform will fit day scopes with a tube diameter of one inch or 30mm. The day scope adapter comes supplied with inserts to allow it to fit day scopes with an eye-bell diameter of 39mm-45mm and the hinged mechansim allows the unit to be folded back out fo the way when not in use, or it can be removed altogether thanks to the quick release mechanism used. A very versatile set-up, and buying the kit saves you £104.00 over buying the items separately.
