| Laser for use with night vision and in daylight
The Corsak 16 AP is a compact but powerful laser target designator for use in both daylight and with night vision equipment (thanks to its adjustable power output). This means that once zeroed, the laser can be used on full power in daylight, making a bright visible red dot which is visible up to about 50 metres; however, for night use, the power can be turned down to the lowest level, which makes it almost invisible to the naked eye, but clearly visible through night vision equipment (night vision goggles or mono-goggles). Zeroing the C16AP is a very simple procedure - unlike other laser sights, the C16 is fitted with a windage and elevation adjustment for zeroing that is very similar to the turrets seen on both day and night vision rifle scopes. This makes setting up a perfect zero a stress-free and brief experience, without the need for tools! As with all laser devices, care must be taken not to shine the laser into anybodies eyes, as it will damage eye-sight. When activated, the corsak has a red LED on top which gives the operator a visible indication of status. Three mounts are availble - a universal barrel mount (which will fit most barrels, up to one inch diameter) a dovetail mount for airguns and a two piece weaver mount for fitting to weapons with weaver rails fitted. Also available is a remote activation switch which can be fitted to the end of the unit and the switch velcroed to the weapon to allow the unit to be activated by the users thumb. Included with every C16AP laser purchased is a mount of your choice - under-barrel, dovetail or weaver, as well as the wired remote switch!
