Infra Red Laser Sight for use with night vision The LTD-IR is a compact, powerful, high quality, adjustable power infra red laser target designator for use in darkness in conjunction with night vision equipment. The laser designator has three power settings, which means that lower power can be used for short ranges, while the two higher power settings can be used where maximum range is required. The higher two settings give output equal to a class 3B laser, meaning that on these two settings it is not eyesafe. Irrespective which power setting is used, both the dot and the beam are completely invisible to the naked eye, but clearly visible through night vision equipment (night vision goggles or mono-goggles). The high quality lens used in this laser keeps the beam tight and concentrated - at 100 metres, dot size is only 3 centimetres. Like our Corsak model, zeroing the LTD-IR is a very simple procedure - it is fitted with windage and elevation turrets for adjustment of zero that are identical to the turrets seen on both day and night vision rifle scopes, so zero can be set precisely in a few moments, without the need for special tools! The adjustment turrets are manufactured to the highest specification, and so the Laser will hold its zero even on centre-fire/Military weapons (unlike the cheaper units of chinese manufacture). The LTD-IR comes with a weaver mount built onto it, and so can be mounted directly onto any rifle that has a weaver accessory rail fitted; for rifles that do not have a weaver rail, the laser is supplied with a small weaver rail which can be attached to the stock (or spare area of sight rail) of most long weapons.
